Vibrations eliminated with a free ACE app and 31 Euro of material
Split air-conditioning units are superior in terms of cost-benefit balance to other solutions for interior cooling, such as facade insulation and monoblock air-conditioning systems. If building regulations allow roof installation, then homeowners are only faced with a small problem. The problem can be solved quickly thanks to an intelligent app from ACE Stoßdämpfer GmbH. By using VibroChecker, a free app from ACE, the homeowner turned his smartphone into a device for measuring vibrations and shocks. He selected four COM-52511 vibration dampers online using ACE's calculation software. In this case, even load distribution of the total mass of the air conditioner was 34.4 kg, which operated at a natural frequency of 7.0 Hz to 11.0 Hz. The compact machine elements are maintenance-free and the medium of choice in low-frequency applications from around 15 Hz. At 25 Hz the degree of isolation is 90%. Designed for temperatures from -30°C to 80°C, they are also ideally suited for vertical loads in industrial machines, small motors, pumps or compressors.
In this case, thanks to the app, a solution was found for 31 euros. This solution fully exploits the advantages of the air conditioning splitter, compared to competing monoblocks or expensive facade insulation.
