Vibration dampers protect switch cabinets of tugger trains
For their special kits for converting commercially available electric tractors into automated guided vehicles (AGVs), Schiller Automatisierungstechnik GmbH was looking for a fail-safe solution to protect the sensitive electronics in the control cabinet. After a brief internet search in the field of vibration technology, the engineers found what they were looking for on this homepage: After online design and immediate sampling, four rubber-metal isolators of the basic type AAM-5220 proved to be a perfect fit.
Matching Applications
Damping Pads - SLAB 030 to SLAB 300
Impact protection for luggage transport systems Airports endeavour to shorten air passengers’ waiting times as much as possible. This aim is met with a solution especially developed for luggage transport systems and has solved previous damping issue. A combination of SLAB damping pads and TUBUS TA profile dampers from ACE is used. Transport carriers with a weight of up to 120 kg can now be moved at the desired conveyor belt speeds.
Miniature Shock Absorbers - MC150 to MC600
Faster sorting with Miniature Shock Absorbers For a particularly space-saving design of its new split tray sorters, the Dutch company Equinox MHE has reduced the curve radii. ACE's MC150 Miniature Shock Absorbers are used to maintain the high speed in the curves.<br/>In continuous operation, these self-adjusting, maintenance-free types have proven to be ideal retarders after tests. In addition to reliable braking of fast movements in curves, they are characterized by maximum service lives of up to 25 million load changes thanks to ACE's rolling diaphragm technology.
Profile Dampers - TUBUS TR-H
Profile dampers make excellent electric scooters even better For the second generation of their unique, because foldable and three-wheeled e-scooter, the engineers of scuddy GmbH & Co. KG aimed for even more individual damping than the previous model. This electric scooter already uses our TUBUS profile dampers and SLAB cut-to-size shock absorption plates. After consultations with us and successful sampling, scuddy now uses TUBUS of the basic types TR64-41H-OS, TR68-37H-OS or TR79-42H-OS in the new e-scooter Premium V2, depending on the weight class of the owners.
Industrial Gas Springs – Push Type - GS-8 to GS-70
Motion optimisation of accelerators in racing cars The versatility of ACE's industrial gas springs is demonstrated through their use in a racing car. Installed on the accelerator, they compensate disruptive pedal movements through the backflow of nitrogen when the throttle valve is opened. This compensation is achieved through the gas spring building up slight counter pressure. The driver’s foot is thus stabilised in critical situations and can hold the desired pedal position more consistently, despite the vibrations from driving. This results in measurable improvements in both safety and in lap times in comparison to the previously used screw springs.
Rotary Dampers - FDT
Steering stabilisation for toboggans and sport vehicles In this innovative tobogganing vehicle called Pistenbock-Cross rotation dampers from ACE come into action. These help to effectively damen unexpected steering turns and smooth the overall process to improve driving comfort and safety. Two FDT rotary dampers are mounted counter-rotating with the use of spacers underneath the steering stool. A square square engages in the rotary dampers, thus enabling the steering behavior to be optimized. The design prevents sudden tearing of the steering in the event of a collision with larger obstacles and offers the driver greater safety on impassable stretches of road.
Hydraulic Dampers - HB-12 to HB-70
Steering stabilisation for cargo bikes and E-Trikes The delivery of goods has become very popular with supermarkets. This has increased the demand for bicycles to avoid congestion and contribute to environmental protection. For this type of transport and fast deliveries, a customized small series of cargo bikes in underfloor construction was designed and equipped with electric drive and hydraulic dampers. The dampers supplied by ACE are variably adjustable in compression or traction force from 30 N up to 3,000 N. They soothe the chassis of the E-Trikes, serve for safety and increase driving comfort.
Industrial Gas Springs – Push Type - GS-8 to GS-70
Gas springs support lifting forces of stand-up wheelchairs The developers of the PR Biolution stand-up wheelchair from PARAVAN avoid even the smallest jerky movements for the benefit of rehab patients. Therefore, they designed the aid, which was developed according to the strict guidelines of medical technology, with machine elements for maximum stability and safety. This was achieved, among other things, by integrating industrial gas pressure springs from ACE, which perfectly regulate the running and acceleration forces of the electric motor.
