Change-over to EU Articles

Over the last years the requirements, documentation obligations and extensive material- and product testing have become more and more substantial.
That drove us to go in a new and pro-active way in the direction of an European product range.

We will conduct a change-over of the product descriptions and through this indicate the compliance of required norms, acts and guidelines in the European economic region.

Shock Absorbers and Feed Controls are produced worldwide. The quality requirements for the different economic regions are designed and monitored by the responsible local ACE subsidiaries. So far the conformity of the effective guidelines has not been represented outwardly. This is to follow from October 2010 by labelling all Shock Absorbers, Feed Controls and Safety Shock Absorbers.

The change-over will appear as follows: European catalogue items will be added with an EU in the article description The EU will always show after the stroke or the capacity description.

Examples: MC600EUMH2; MA3350EUM; CA2x2EU-3R

For you this will result in the following customer value:

• Worldwide traceable compliance with the European requirements
  
• Securing of spare parts according to EU-standards
  
• Safety on liability issues through central sales

To support you with the change-over updated CAD data, electronic catalogue, calculation program and data sheets will be available from October on. The products will be labelled from manufacturing month September 2010 (Code IB or 10244 on the product)

Enertrols Sucker Rod Cushions replace the existing steel coil spring with a highly engineered elastomeric product. These long-life units are designed to absorb shock as the sucker rod is raised and lowered.
Sucker Rod pads reduce rod vibration and shock on wells with peak polished rod loads up to 44,000 lbs. (196 kN).
Up to four pads of elastomer material are fixed between steel plates and mounted on the top of the pumping unit’s hanger bar.
